So, what’s keeping me busy?

Hello, hello! Pardon me but I can’t help but share my excitement when it comes to preparing our humble home ready for our baby’s arrival. Been rearranging and making our place baby-friendly these days. This weekend, our landline has been finally installed (essential for checking out the yaya during working hours). And speaking of yaya, been talking to my mum lately, glad to hear that she’s been preparing one of our helpers back in mindanao for me. So a help is coming here very soon. I’ve also segregated things that need to be disposed to make room for the things that we need to buy (aircon, washing machine, crib, baby dresser, mats, etc.) I’m having fun, you guys! Being independent and having the chance to start your own life and family with minimal supervision from the parentals is really, really fulfilling. And I’m truly blessed to have a family (in-laws included) that is so supportive and excited as well. I know that this is going to be one hell of a ride, having a baby and all, but I’m ready. And my husband’s trying his best as well. We will be fine :)

I can’t tell you enough how excited I am to start a new chapter. I find my self excited going to work everyday now, thinking that every day allows me to earn and in turn helps us build our home slowly. The husband’s been rendering extra working hours for a couple of months now and I can’t be thankful enough for all the blessings that are coming our way. Of course there are some sacrifices to be made and problems to be solved, but hey, I know Someone who is bigger than them. So despite some financial struggles, emotional stress and physical adjustments, I’m still blessed and in fact, can’t believe that my husband and I made it to this point despite everything. GOD IS GOOD!
