Our dinner last night and now my past midnight snack. This is crazy! Was fighting the urge to eat since 11:00pm and finally gave in at around 2:30am when the hunger turned into ulcer-like-pain due to meds I’m currently taking. Read: I just finished a pack of cheese bites before finally serving myself a bowl of sinigang. I gained almost 2 pounds in the last two weeks but what can I do? I can’t sleep and my stomach is driving me nuts! *crying*
Warning: photo vomit coming up!
Last Sunday, my sister, together with some friends, relatives and in-laws threw me a surprise baby shower party. It was not the exact one I have in mind but the fact that the party was organized behind my back and these people worked together to give me yet another wonderful time in my life is such a big deal. I feel loved and appreciated, mind you. Some people, though miles away, even extended their help in making this event successful (Thanks, by the way. It was super sweet of you to do that)
So without further ado, let these pictures speak for themselves :)

The decoy. Marecar and Meldz invited me for a Sunday lunch out at Mary Grace. We do have a lot of catching up to do so this is their perfect decoy *wink*

The food. Pichi-pichi, gelatin, chicken lollipops, doughnuts, pizza, chicken lechon, chips and dips, and pansit malabon. For those who brought these, thank you! Balloons were from cousins tet and tiff.

The souvenirs. This is from dad. Thank you so, so much! And thanks ate for really putting an effort on this one. Cupcakes are what I have in mind for give-aways. Thank you too papa, ate terry and the whole Sevilla family for picking them up and delivering them safely :) They are so adorable!

The cards. This one was designed by sis Chamie who is from Davao. I had fun reading you messages. It was a joy knowing that you are all excited for me as well.

The people behind the surprise party. I love you guys! You’re tooooo sweet to handle :)

The happy buntis. Presenting: Me at 8 months!

Finally, the caption says it all. To the best sister in the world. Thank you for not killing me kasi naunahan nanaman kita (peace!)
By the way, thank you for the gifts, too. Dumadami na gamit ni baby :)
Somebody was teasing me when I told him I’m gonna cook pininyahang manok for dinner. He said he’s not familiar with the dish and even told me to cook fried chicken instead! Such an unbeliever :( But anyway, being the stubborn that I am, I proceeded with my first attempt of cooking it. And guess who can’t stop saying ‘i lahvet!!!’ after taking his second serving? - my unbeliever husband. Hmp!
Yogurts!!! Dole’s latest product, I think. Thank you mum for sending me these. I’m not sure if they’re out in the market yet but it’s Dole. I bet they’ll taste fantastic. Been a yogurt fan since highschool (kahit hindi pa uso ang froyo)
Thank you daddy for the gift you sent us today. Finally, I was able to buy the baby cabinet I’ve been eyeing on. Also, thank you both, mommy and daddy, for the baby ‘lampins’ :) and thank you for the frozen yogurts too! I love you both and thank you for all the support. Hope to see you very soon :)
